Meet the breeder

I'm Tom T., the breeder behind Teeter's Desert Goddess Goldens located in Albuquerque, NM. Our dogs & their puppies are raised in our home with the love and attention they need to grow with the confidence they need to thrive in their new family. They are healthy, affectionate, intelligent, adorable, loving, well socialized and cute as can be! They'll capture your heart when you see them!

Q. & A. with Tom

  • Why did you start breeding?

We brought home our first Golden in 2000 and fell in love so much we decided to get a second one. That is where everything began. Having children and being active in the outdoors they fit perfectly in our life. Once we decided to breed them, that was the best experience from whelping, caring for them and meeting the new families. Now we have a new generation of goldens and are doing what we love!
  • What makes your program special?

We were very selective in choosing our Goldens. They are health tested; DNA clear and have happy, healthy parents from reputable breeders. We give each puppy the love, attention and socialization they need to succeed with his/her new family! I also send weekly photos and encourage local visitation to begin bonding with your new puppy until he/she is ready to go home with you.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
