Meet the breeder

I'm Robin S., the breeder behind TRUHUSKY SIBERIANS located in Walker, LA. Our passion for our first Siberian Husky began our love of this amazing, majestic breed. We just fell right in love with Chief. He was the best companion. Now, my husband and I are small hobby breeders dedicated to providing families with the same well-tempered Husky pups we had found in our Chief.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Truhusky Siberians started because of our very first Siberian Husky, Chief. We had never had a Husky before, and needless to say, we were happily surprised. We loved him so much. Chief was kind, outgoing and had such an awesome personality 24/7. It was just like having a little toddler in the house, again. He was our pride and joy We love this breed, and became breeders, but miss Chief every day.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are always trying to improve our breeding program. Our belief is that how you train your Husky baby throughout their lives, should always remain consistent. They need routine in their lives.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red and white, gray and white, black tan and white, agouti and white, black and white, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Robin

Robin has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Robin partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,100 - $1,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the puppy’s health guarantee, registrations, microchip, puppy pack, & lifetime breeder support. The puppies will be vet checked, dewormed, and up to date on all their vaccinations. Once you decide on a puppy, we ask for a $250 deposit to reserve him/her until they are old enough to leave. The deposit is deducted from the total price of your puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Robin may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Robin was such a great person to work with! She cares so much about every single one of her dogs! She was very communicative from the time we put a deposit down (before our baby Elodie was born) and is still very communicative even after bringing our new baby home! Robin has great knowledge and experience! Elodie is so beautiful and very smart! She loves to play until she drops (literally falls asleep in two seconds). Elodie was pee pad trained and grass pad trained when she came home. She knew where to go! She even knew her name when she got home!!!!! Our baby has settled into her new routine very well and every day is an adventure. Elodie is best friends with our other fully grown dog Baxton. He is a Rough Collie. She likes to chase him and play.
