I'm Alla P., the breeder behind VitPom Puppies located in Rio Linda, CA. Puppies are born and raised inside my house on a large property where they get lots of love and attention. Potty and crate trained before they leave my house.

Why did you start breeding?
I was around dogs and puppies for as long as I remember myself. My parents were raising Siberian Huskies when we lived in Europe. Dogs were important, every day.What makes your program special?
I focus on health, temperament and looks. All of my breeding dogs come from healthy lines and all of them have extensive health screening done--they are OFA certified and DNA tested through Paw Prints Genetics. All of my dog parents are AKC registered. Puppies are born and raised inside my house where they receive plenty of attention and are socialized on a daily basis.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brown, blenheim, black and white, black and tan, black, and apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

"We offer a one-year health guarantee. All of our parent dogs are health tested. Puppies get a thorough an exam by a licensed veterinarian and their first shot at 8 weeks. Puppies will be dewormed 3 times. Puppies go home already potty trained. I charge a deposit to hold a puppy after you complete and pass the application process. You can also submit a deposit for future litters."

Parent health testing

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

I would definitely work with Alla again if we ever get another puppy. Getting a new family member is a big event. I wanted to make sure our dog's temperament was a good fit for our family and lifestyle, and Alla helped us choose accordingly from the litter. Alla keeps the puppies longer than most breeders. I think this is a good practice because it made potty training a much easier experience than it has been in the past for us. We are in love with our dog (he is now 5 months old). He is extremely cute, but also very smart and trainable. I have communicated with Alla throughout the process (from choosing our puppy and after bringing him home) and found her to be responsive and available. We are so grateful for our sweet and lovable boy!

Absolutely love our little Cavapoo. She’s sweet and playful. She loves our children and plays for hours with our other dog. She falls asleep on her back in your arms, melting your heart. She’s also very healthy so we hope to have a long time with her.
