I'm Shanon W., the breeder behind Whippoorwill Pomeranians located in Eden, NC. We’re hobby breeders looking for individuals and families that will continue to love and spoil our puppies as much as we do! We are a simple, family-run breeding program offering loving and loyal companions to others. We focus on quality care and health with each litter we raise.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My grandfather raised Poms and Eskimo Spitz. I lived next door to him growing up, so I have literally raised Poms my entire life. I only breed Poms. I have a huge admiration and respect for the breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    My Poms live their lives being loved and in comfort. I take pride in the clean environment that they are raised in. They are vetted and registered.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include chocolate, blue merle, tri-colored, cream sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Shanon

Shanon has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Shanon partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Shanon and Whippoorwill Pomeranians was absolutely incredible to work with while adopting our new pom. She was extremely quick with responses, knowledgeable, and kept us in the loop weekly with photos and progress update on our pom. With pickup, we were driving from a few states away, and Shanon was so flexible with the pickup time as we made our way to her.
