What makes Donna’s program special
I focus strongly on the very best temperaments. Every excellent dog begins with a great temperament. Next we work hard to try and breed the healthiest puppies. We do all the testing available to help prevent genetic disease and study pedigrees for any information we can gather. After that we look for the best structure and type to keep in the breeding program and send to show homes.

As a behavioralist, I use Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) to prepare my puppies for the world. I introduce them to loud noises, handle them daily, introduce them to visitors, and go on trips so that they can get used to new environments. I socialize my puppies so that they can have the best temperament, and be ready to go to their forever homes. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, Early Neurological Stimulation, Sound Stimulation, and Touch Desensitization.
All puppies are vaccinated, dewormed, and seen by a licensed veterinarian before going to their new homes.
We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Registration, Vet records, Microchip, Early Neurological Stimulation, Vaccinations, Microchip, and AKC Registration.
Donna offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.

Work with a trusted flight nanny to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.
Why Donna started breeding
I got my first Samoyed as the perfect Christmas surprise in 1999. It was, by far, the best Christmas present I have ever received. Fancy is the foundation for Wintersong, and from there, I began breeding Samoyeds under the Wintersong name.
