I'm Teresa T., the breeder behind Blue Ridge Delightful Doodles located in Woodlawn, VA. We are a small, in-home breeder focused on raising healthy, loving family dogs. Our parent dogs’ well-being comes first, and each puppy is raised in our home with tender love and care, from our family to yours.
Q. & A. with Teresa
Why did you start breeding?
Our journey began in 2020 when we brought home our first Australian Labradoodles while looking for a gentle, low-shedding family companion. We fell in love with the breeds temperament and joy. After adding our second ALD two years later, we felt a growing passion for the breed and a desire to share that experience with other families. In 2024, we welcomed our foundation girls and began our breeding program with purpose and heart.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is special because our dogs live in our home as family, not in kennels. We focus on quality over quantity, producing only a few litters per year so every puppy receives dedicated attention, gently handling, and a strong foundation. All of our breeding dogs are fully healthy tested, and we raise each litter with Puppy Culture to support healthy development and confident temperaments.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
