I'm the breeder behind Andaluz Mini American Shepherds located in Arlington, WA. My puppies come from health tested parents with stellar temperaments. My dogs compete in agility and conformation. My breeding focuses on temperament first. People need a dog they can live with. Then health and conformation. I strive to produce healthy puppies who fit as close to the standard as possible.
About Natalie
I started 4H with my GSD/rottie mix at age 10. My 4H leader introduced me to showing in AKC Juniors, letting me use one of her Goldens. I won my first show and was hooked! Dogs have been my life for years now and nothing gives me more joy than competing with my girls, realizing the bond that we have made in our daily lives together training, hiking and just spending time together.
What makes Natalie’s program special
My program is incredibly special for a few reasons. First, I focus on dogs that can do it all. Versatility. I produce dogs that can strut their stuff in the show ring, and then go Q in the agility ring. I focus on earning titles on both ends of my dogs names to prove their versatility. When raising my puppies, I do everything I can to set them up for success. From following Puppy Culture protocols to taking them new (safe) places to see all kinds of people and animals. I health test my dogs, to make sure they are breeding quality health wise. My goals are great health, lovely stable temperaments, and beautiful conformation.

Why Natalie started breeding
About 5 years ago I wanted to get back into showing. I'd owned Rottweilers in the past. At the time, I had a young toddler so I decided to look for a smaller dog. I'd always wanted an Aussie so an Aussie in a smaller package seemed perfect for what I was looking for. I scoured breeder's websites, asked everyone I came across with a MAS where they got theirs and then looked those breeders up. I was incredibly fortunate to come across my (now) mentors website. We met, decided on a puppy and the rest is history! Mazie, now 5 years old, is that puppy. She has helped me achieve so many goals including winning Best In Show at the UKC WA Classic last year. An incredible honor. Together we began our agility journey and are loving every minute of it.
