Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Anne's Golden Retrievers located in Blaine, MN. I put a great deal of thought into the sire I pick for my litters. My dogs are very well-rounded dogs! They are active in agility, obedience, and my 8 yo is also a therapy dog at our local hospital. I believe a well-bred, well-mannered dog is an asset to the family unit.

Anne’s experience

  • About Anne

I teach puppy kindergarten and a novice agility class. I love the "light bulb" moments with a dog that you have been working with really "gets" what you have been trying to teach them.

  • What makes Anne’s program special

I am always looking at my puppies and thinking of socialization and exposure to lots of different environments before the puppies go home. I also use a number of tools to help the puppies grow with neurological status. We also use the Volhard puppy test.

More about Anne

  • Why Anne started breeding

As an adult my brother gave me a golden puppy with the understanding that I would return a puppy, I had the litter and enjoyed the rearing of that litter. And was hooked on breeding. My current girl does not have much for coat but is has drive and everything else goldens should have, I'm breeding for coat with this litter.
