Puppies are desensitized to loud everyday noises. Handled ear to tail/toe daily. I have set up integrated obstacles at home for environmental proofing. They get a visit to a farm for exposure to farm animals, noises, and smells. They have nail trims starting at 4 weeks for desensitization. Approved visitors for socialization to new people. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Grooming, Car Rides, Toys , Nail Trimming , Scents, Various Surfaces , Strangers, Stores, Socialized with Children, Sound Stimulation, Early Neurological Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Socialized with Elderly, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Other Animals, and Noises .
Puppies are seen and vaccinated by our veterinarian of 20+ years. All age-appropriate vaccinations and dewormings are done prior to sales.
We send our puppies home with Puppy Collar, Blanket with Mom's Scent, and AKC Registration.

Great level
Av Lundquist reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for German Shepherds.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Brucellosis, Dentition
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
