I'm the breeder behind Baker Ranch Toy Aussies located in Ashland, OK. My family and I raise Toy Australian Shepherds here on our cattle ranch. Our dogs are part of our family. We spend all of our time loving, playing, and working with our dogs. They are very well-socialized and have a beautiful life. We want to make sure we are doing our part to provide you with a happy and wonderful four-legged friend.
About Holly
My family has always been in the ranching business and we’ve always had working dogs. I graduated from veterinary technology school several years ago. We take pride in producing healthy, socialized puppies.
What makes Holly’s program special
Our dogs make us special! Truly, they are part of our family. We make sure our dogs have good, family-friendly dispositions and healthy genetic lines.
Holly has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $500 - $1,250.
Holly may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Holly offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Holly directly.
Puppies are handled daily beginning at birth. I am there during whelping to assist if needed. I check and handle puppies throughout the day every day until they have gone to their new homes. I have two little boys that assist in socialization when the pups are old enough to play.
Puppies are examined at three days of age. Tails are docked and dewclaws are removed that same day as long as the puppy is healthy. Then, puppies are dewormed every two weeks until they’ve gone to their new homes. Puppies will receive their first puppy vaccination at 8 weeks old. Puppies may not leave prior to the first vaccination. I send recommendations for a vaccination schedule but encourage new owners to talk to their veterinarian about his or her recommended schedule.
Your puppy may come with extra benefits, like a small bag of food or a toy carrying the scent of their littermates. While Baker Ranch Toy Aussies hasn’t shared specifics yet, we encourage you to reach out directly to learn what thoughtful extras they may include to help your puppy transition comfortably into their new home.
Holly offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Work with a trusted flight nanny or transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.
Why Holly started breeding
My husband and I got a Toy Aussie for my son when he was little. She was just the best little dog and we fell in love with the breed! After doing some research and construction, we decided to try raising a litter. Since then, we’ve added 3 more females and continue to make improvements and strive to produce healthy puppies.
