I'm the breeder behind Big Medicine Kennel located in Egg Harbor City, NJ. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on work ethic and ability. Puppies will leave here exposed to water, birds, noises, crates, and socialized with children.

About Kylie
I have been a vet tech for 15+ years. Grew up with Brittanys hunting upland with my dad. When I got married we got our first Chesapeake Bay Retriever and found a love for the breed and waterfowl hunting. A friend introduced me to AKC hunt tests and life has never been the same. Got my first Boykin in 2020. Now I’m an AKC hunt test judge, a dog truck, Own several CBRs and a couple Boykin Spaniels.

Getting a puppy from Kylie
Kylie has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $1,800 - $2,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $800.
“The price includes application for registration, age appropriate vaccines, deworming, vet check, microchip, tail docking and dew claw removal for Boykins. As well as lifetime support.”

Kylie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included
Enrichment and socialization
Our puppies are socialized with children and other dogs and cats. As well as exposed to other animals such as horses and goats. They will be introduced to water and birds. Many different floor types and noises. They will have the beginnings of crate training and potty training. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Daily handling, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Various sounds, Stairs and Obstacles, Weekly Nail Trims , bathing, Water Introduction, Volhard testing, outside play, We litter train our puppies by 4 weeks which makes crate training very easy., Early socialization, Bird Introduction, Noise desensitization, Doggy door training , Human Interactions , Potty training, crate training, Sit Command, "No" Biting or Chewing, Crate Training, and Potty Training.
Puppy health practices
All puppies are vaccinated and checked by a vet prior to going home. The vet document will be provided for each puppy.
Extras
We send our puppies home with Food & treats, Registration, Microchip, Vet records, Puppy starter kit, and Initial potty training.

Pick up your puppy in Egg Harbor City, NJ or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
