I'm the breeder behind Big Water Dreams Retrievers located in Grand Rivers, KY. We responsibly breed, raise, and socialize healthy pups so others can enjoy the gift of living life with a Lab! We breed athletic dogs with fantastic temperaments that will make stellar family pets and companions in the field. They're raised with love from our home to yours and we're so proud!

Getting a puppy from Suzie

Suzie has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $1,000 - $1,800 and include a non-refundable deposit of $300.

“Our puppies come with AKC registration, dewclaws removed all age appropriate wormings. We perform ENS and ESI we follow some puppy culture. Our puppies are socialized, intro to live pigeons and water.”

What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Our puppies are well socialized, introduced to older dogs. We perform Early Neurological Stimulation from days 3-16. We also follow some puppy culture. We introduce our puppies to all sorts of loud noises, different environments, live pigeons and water if the weather permits. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized with children, Socialized in new places, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, positive experiences in all situations, Potty opportunities on various surfaces, Early stages of crate training, Outdoors (when Weather permits), Car Rides, Outdoors, e.g. rain, Various Surfaces , Strangers, Noises , Structures, e.g. Climbing, Chew, e.g. Bone, Toys, e.g. Ball, Early Neurological Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Children, and Litter Box Trained.

Puppy health practices

Puppies have dewclaws removed at 3 days old, all age appropriate wormings. We get their first vet check and first round of vaccinations and we also get their first month of heartworm prevention.

We send our puppies home with Registration, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Initial potty training, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, Dew claws removed, Sound and texture enrichment, Early Neurological Stimulation, Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Bone, Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents, Vaccinations, Toy with Littermates' Scent, Toy with Mom's Scent, Puppy Starter Kit, Food Starter Bag, Blanket with Mom's Scent, and AKC Registration.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
