I'm the breeder behind Bodacious Blues Kennels (American and Pembroke Welsh Corgis) located in Herrick, SD. I raise Corgis for the love of the dogs and for a desire to help line great families up with wonderful forever furbabies. We are dog lovers through and through! Our pups are such an important part of our lives, and we can’t imagine being without them. It’s an amazing experience as breeders to provide others with puppies that we know will bring them the same joy!
About LOGAN
I have always been an animal lover. I was raised on a farm, and later went to college and graduated as a veterinary technician. I love my dogs like they are my own kids, and I raise puppies, purely for the love of the dogs. I try to help families find their lifelong fur babies, and I am always there to help throughout the dogs' life.
What makes LOGAN’s program special
I think the amount of love, and care I give my puppies is part of the special experience, and also the fact that I let my new owners know I will always be there to help if they should ever have any questions. I personally hand deliver every puppy even if I have to fly them to other states. I also specialize in unique Corgis. Merles, bluies, fluffies, etc. I love their uniqueness.

I leave them with their mom constantly until 6 weeks old, then put mom in for playtime and scheduled feedings a few times a day. I also introduce them to my other dogs that I have once they are about 6-7 weeks old. I have a cat that loves to play with them and teaches them that kitties are their friends. I work with them for at least half an hour twice a day starting at 2 weeks old doing puppy culture, getting them used to people touching them all over, and while they eat, I practice taking food away, touching their food while they're eating, and various other exercises so when little kids are around owners won't have to worry about them being food aggressive. I also litter box train my puppies between 3-7 weeks, so they learn there are special only to potty. At 8 weeks and after if they are still in my care I start outdoor potty training since they have 2 vaccinations and some protection from potential viral hazards that may be outside. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other animals, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, and Various sounds.
My puppies and their momma are dewormed at 2, 4, 6, & 8 weeks (every 2 weeks after 8 weeks if they have not gone to their new homes yet). They are given vaccinations at 8 weeks (and every 4 weeks up to 16 weeks and rabies vaccination at 16 weeks if I have them that long). They also go in for a vet check at 8 weeks to make sure everyone is healthy and parasite free, ready to go to their new home.
We send our puppies home with Puppy starter kit, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, and Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent.
