About Duce
Welcome to Bourbon Country Retrievers, Y’all! We like to say we will never be the largest breeder but it’s our goal to be the best.

They go through ENS program to ensure they have been exposed to a variety of sounds, people, and other objects.
Puppies will get their first round of vaccinations, begin deworming and see the vet for dewclaw removal and checkup.
Your puppy may come with extra benefits, like a small bag of food or a toy carrying the scent of their littermates. While Bourbon Country Retrievers hasn’t shared specifics yet, we encourage you to reach out directly to learn what thoughtful extras they may include to help your puppy transition comfortably into their new home.
Duce offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Work with a trusted flight nanny or transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.
Why Duce started breeding
We bought our first dog and didn’t have a great experience. We looked to another breeder who turned a bad situation into a positive experience. We fell in love with the breed and thought it would be a great idea for other to experience the awesome breed.
