Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Breese Border Collies located in Lima, OH. We decided to start a responsible, in-home breeding program in order to produce quality working dogs that also fit into a home setting. These dogs can do it all, and we make sure to foster that versatility in our puppies beginning from the moment they're born utilizing puppy culture protocol.

Elle’s experience

  • About Elle

I was a certified obedience instructor for many years before my horse riding accident. I fostered tons of litters and ran the prison dog training program for a local rescue. Starting my goose hazing business led me from German shepherds to border collies. I love competing in dog sports with my two sons and have a hobby farm.

  • What makes Elle’s program special

I raise a mix of sports and working border collies inside of my home with love and care. I pride myself in transparency of raising the pups by videoing every session to show the growth and potential in each pup. It allows puppy owners to form a bond to their puppy before going home to them.

More about Elle

  • Why Elle started breeding

I started a goose hazing business and needed more quality, health tested dogs to ensure a long working capability for my dogs. I wanted versatility in being able to be a companion on the couch as well as a dog capable of working 8 hour shifts. From there, sports titles, additional sports lessons, extra health testing and research led me to breeding.
