Our puppies are well socialized and raised in our home so they are accustom to our every day happenings. Once vaccinated, they are taken outside several times a day and introduced to live quail. We also work on retrieving skills as we believe it is important to train this skill at an early age. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Scent introduction, Daily handling, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Surface & tactile stimulation, Socialized with children, Car rides, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Car rides, Daily handling, Various sounds, and Socialized with children.
Tails are docked and dew claws removed at 3 days old by a licensed vet. Puppies are seen at 6-7 weeks old by a licensed vet and receive their first set of vaccinations before going to their new homes.
We send our puppies home with Food & treats, Vet records, Registration, Puppy starter kit, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, Registration, Toy with Littermates' Scent, Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Puppy Starter Kit, and Food Starter Bag.
Tom offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

Tom’s program includes five colors
Tom’s Boykin Spaniel puppies are liver. Tom’s Brittany puppies include orange roan, liver roan, liver and white, and orange and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
