About Trudy
I fell in love with the French Bulldog in 1990, and started actively breeding/showing Frenchies in AKC conformation events in 1991. I have produced more than 50 AKC Champions from 1993 to date. I was actively involved in the FBDCA (1996-2008) and the FBCDFW thru 2012.
What makes Trudy’s program special
I am an AKC breeder of high-quality Frenchies. I do not produce a litter unless each of my parent dogs are fully healthy and excellent representations of the standard. My goal is to produce puppies that are the whole package - ones that are healthy, beautiful, and have incredible conformation and temperament. For the health, safety, and integrity of my program, I work with all colors excluding Merle. I truly love my dogs and puppies, and I want nothing more than to see each and every one of them shine!
Trudy’s certifications & recognitions
AKC Breeder of Merit
Trudy has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $1,500 - $2,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“Included with your puppy are vaccinations, deworming (age-appropriate), a microchip, a Vet health certificate, sales contract/guarantee, and registration. The deposit is non-refundable except in the instance whereby the color/gender of the puppy reserved is not whelped or the puppy does not pass the Veterinary Health examination at 7-8 weeks of age.”
Trudy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Trudy offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Trudy directly.
Our puppies are raised in our home and are socialized to other people and dogs depending on their age. They are introduced to a variety of sights, sounds, and tactile surfaces both indoors and outdoors. Every puppy that will fly with their new owner in the cabin is introduced to a sherpa bag 2 weeks prior to the trip so they are well adapted and comfortable being contained in the carrier. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, Basic Manners, Crate Training, Sound Stimulation, Initial House Training, Various Surfaces, Various People, Socialized with Other Animals, and Socialized with Adult Dogs.
All puppies are vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and visit the Vet between 7-8 weeks of age for a complete physical. Every puppy, after Vet examination, will be issued a Vet Certificate of Health by the examining Vet. Any health issues will be noted by the Veterinarian and shared with the buyer.
We send our puppies home with Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Registration, Initial potty training, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, Microchip, Vaccinations, Certificate of Health, Blanket with Littermates Scent, and Microchip.
Trudy offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
“We don't ship our puppies, but for those buyers that are within driving distance, we will meet you in a convenient location for puppy pick up. For those buyers that fly into Dallas to pick up their new family member, we will meet you at the airport so there is no need to rent a car.”
Work with a trusted flight nanny to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

Bullistik® Knl reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for French Bulldogs.
Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Tracheal Hypoplasia, Spine (OFA, FCI), Legg-Calve-Perthes (OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
VetGen DNA Testing, Cystinuria Type 3, French Bulldog Type Risk Factor, GenSol Diagnostics DNA Testing, PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
