I'm the breeder behind Buschur Bernedoodles located in New Weston, OH. We are a small in-home breeder of Bernedoodles. We love these dogs and love doing our part in bettering the breed. We use the Early Neurological Stimulation method to ensure our puppy families that they will get the very most out of their puppies. Bernedoodeles are wonderful dogs and such a great addition to have!
About Vicki
My daughter has a breeding program with Golden Retrievers and Bernese Mountain Dogs and we got our dog, Ruth, from her. She is mentoring us as we raise our puppies. We homeschool and spend most of our time at home, so the puppies will be well socialized, meet other animals, and be exposed to many sights and sounds of an active household.
What makes Vicki’s program special
We are a very small program, so we have lots of time and attention to give to these puppies. Three of our children still live at home and spend lots of time getting the puppies used to being handled. We use Early Neurological Stimulation to help ensure the puppies get the best possible start. We have our puppies dewclaws removed, deworm them 3 times, have them checked and vaccinated by our vet.

Vicki has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $1,800 and include a non-refundable deposit of $200.
“$200 deposit is required to hold your place in the picking order.”
Vicki may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Vicki offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Vicki directly.
We socialize the puppies with people of different ages and genders and expose them to people wearing hats, coats, etc. We will expose them to other dogs, cats, rabbits, and other farm animals. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with Other Animals.
The puppies had their dewclaws removed, will be dewormed three times, and will visit the vet for a health check and vaccination before going to their new home.
Your puppy may come with extra benefits, like a small bag of food or a toy carrying the scent of their littermates. While Buschur Bernedoodles hasn’t shared specifics yet, we encourage you to reach out directly to learn what thoughtful extras they may include to help your puppy transition comfortably into their new home.
Vicki offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Work with a trusted transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.
Why Vicki started breeding
We have watched as our daughter has grown her breeding program over the last 7 years, and have learned a lot from her about ethical breeding and puppy development. We only have one dog and don't plan to get any others currently. We decided to breed our dog because of her great personality and healthy bloodlines.
Vicki has been a member of Good Dog for almost 5 years
Vicki was screened for responsible practices and has been a member since 2020.
Vicki’s program has one size
Vicki’s Bernedoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary by litter based on the parent dogs.

Buschur Bernedoodles reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Bernedoodles.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
