I'm the breeder behind Carolina Cavaliers located in Aydlett, NC. Our dogs are our beloved companions. We care deeply about this breed and are proud to be responsible Cavalier breeders. We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy!

Getting a puppy from Kathleen

Kathleen has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $3,500 - $4,000 and include a refundable deposit of $500.

“These puppies are from the parents of AKC registered, Embark DNA tested and cleared for 195 caniene issues. Their hearts, eyes and patellas are certified with OFA and guaranteed healthy pups. I can document at least three generations of cleared Cavaliers for heart, eyes and patellas. You are receiving a healthy puppy that is up to date on all vaccinations, vet checked microchipped.”

Kathleen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Pups are pretty close to being housebroken. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Socialized with other dogs, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, "No" Biting or Chewing, and Potty Training.

Puppy health practices

Pups are fully vaccinated, microchipped and vet checked.

We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Vet records, Basic obedience & manners, Microchip, and Registration.

Bringing your puppy home

Kathleen offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

Get your puppy dropped off to you

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
