Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Cotton Creek Labradoodles located in Marietta, GA. We are a small, in-home breeder and we provide a loving and nurturing environment for our dogs and puppies. We emphasize early socialization and developmentally appropriate training. Raising happy, healthy puppies starts before their birth, therefore we provide our dogs optimum health care and high-quality nutrition.

Michele’s experience

  • About Michele

I have always been a dog lover and could not imagine life without one, but I am also a people person too. In my life, I have been a counselor, a mom, a teacher, and a perpetual volunteer. Somehow, throughout it all, my dogs have been involved. I enjoy sharing the Australian Labradoodle with families so they can experience the same joy and love.

  • What makes Michele’s program special

We are a small program which allows us to devote our time and energy on fewer puppies. They are raised in our home so they can experience all of the sights, sounds, and smells. Our puppies are given lots of developmentally appropriate activities & experiences so they grow up smart and confident. We do temperament testing and match our puppies to their new families.

What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Puppies are in the house where they are exposed to normal household sounds. We start with Early Neural Stimulation (ENS). In addition to the mentally and physically stimulating toys inside they also go on adventure walks outside. They experience all surfaces and types of weather too. We expose our puppies to people of different ages as well. Toddlers to grandparents visit with our puppies many times during their time with us. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Volhard Testing, ENS, We start crate training, Car Training , Noise desensitization, Litter Box Trained, Various Surfaces , Outdoors, e.g. rain, Socialized with Children, and Toys, e.g. Ball.

 …
Puppy health practices

All of our breeding dogs are health tested for hips and elbows, CERF exams for eyes every 18 months as well as disease testing through DNA. Puppies visit the veterinarian for vaccinations, wellness exam and microchips. Puppies are dewormed several times prior to going home.

More about Michele

  • Why Michele started breeding

We had a Standard Poodle for 15 years and always loved dogs. When she was elderly, we started looking at different dogs and discovered the Australian Labradoodle. When our Poodle passed, we became a guardian family. It was an amazing experience. Our children were getting older and I was looking for a way to pursue the things I love to do: taking care of puppies and making families happy.

  • Michele has been a member of Good Dog for almost 5 years

Michele was screened for responsible practices and has been a member since 2020.

  • Michele’s program has one size

Michele’s Australian Labradoodle puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary by litter based on the parent dogs.
