I'm the breeder behind Dark Moon Kennels located in Elko County, NV. I raise and train Labrador Retrievers and Beagles as scent dogs for government programs as well as private handlers and the occasional sports dog companion. I focus on workability, drive, health, and temperament. I work hard to provide quality working dogs. Without good health and temperament it doesn't matter how much they want to do their job. And without workability and drive no matter how healthy they are you can't depend on them with your life or livelihood.

It's essential for young puppies to be socialized with a wide range of stimuli as they grow in order to ensure proper development. During this critical stage of their lives, I introduce my pups to a variety of new experiences for this purpose. I utilize the following enrichment methods: We play noise densensitizing music videos to expose your puppy to sounds that may otherwise trigger a negative response from your puppy (doorbells, fireworks, barking dog, children playing, men talking, etc.), Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) , Touch, pets, and kisses are encouraged during human socialization., Crate Introduction, Start crate training if with me long enough and walking on leash, Grooming and Nail Care, Early Socialization, Early socialization, Biosensor Training, Noise desensitization, Scent Introduction, Avidog, Puppy Culture , Avidog Savvy Socialization Program, Puppy Culture, Crate Training, Various Surfaces, Sound Stimulation, Human Interactions, Various People, Socialized with Other Animals, and Socialized with Adult Dogs.
The health of my puppies is my top priority, and I ensure they receive all necessary care.
We send our puppies home with Puppy Leash, Puppy Collar, Vaccinations, Puppy Starter Kit, and Microchip.
