I'm the breeder behind Exquisite Yorkies located in Bedias, TX. We are focused on bettering the breed and producing puppies that are healthy and well socialized from birth. We have had Yorkies for 25 years and are truly in love with the breed. All of our adult dogs and puppies are our family.
About Julie
We are an in-home breeder that fell in love with the Yorkshire terrier breed 25 years ago with our first Yorkie, DJ. We live out in the country where our dogs have room to play in the sunshine.

Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $1,500 - $4,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“Typically males start at $2500 and females start at $3000 with limited registration. We have discounted prices right now on the current litter. Includes registration and microchip. Our deposit is $500 and is non-refundable. We take deposit when the puppies are 8 weeks old so that you have a better idea of size and temperament. Puppies go home at 12 weeks.”
Julie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. We follow the Puppy Culture socialization training. They are exposed to children, other dogs, and daily household noises as well. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Grooming Desensitization, Beginning potty training , Noise desensitization, Potty pads,, Human Interactions , Puppy Culture , Bathing, grooming and nail trimming., Various Surfaces , Chew, e.g. Bone, Toys, e.g. Ball, Early Neurological Stimulation, Puppy Culture , Socialized with Adult Dogs, and Household Desensitization.
All puppies are health checked by a vet before going home including clear fecal testing. Puppies are given the first two doses of Distemper/Parvo and regular worming schedule as needed. We do not release our puppies before 12 weeks of age.
We send our puppies home with $150 credit in our Exquisite store for puppy goods, Sound and texture enrichment, Microchipped , AKC Registration, Certificate of Health, Food Starter Bag, Puppy Starter Kit, Vaccinations, and Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents.
Julie offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Work with a trusted flight nanny or transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.
Why Julie started breeding
We started breeding in 2014 with German Shepards after our dogs received their championships. In 2016 we decided to raise Yorkies since they are truly our favorite breed.

Julie’s Yorkshire Terrier puppies include chocolate, tan and white, parti, black and tan, and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
