Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Faith Ann's Dachshunds located in Vanceburg, KY. We raise our puppies with total care and attention so they can become well-socialized and loving additions to their forever homes. It’s important to us that we continue to improve our program and share our knowledge with our buyer families. We want to better the breed through thorough health testing and selective breeding decisions.

Faith’s experience

  • About Faith

I have been breeding Dachshunds since early 2000, with a focus on making the transition from our loving home to yours as easy as possible. Originally, I only bred short hair Dachshunds and have made the transition in 2021 to focus on Longhair, champion, and imported lines. I strive to breed the best animals I can to ensure these precious creatures get the love, care and attention they deserve.

  • What makes Faith’s program special

Our family loves this breed and more than anything we want to breed beautiful, healthy and forever companions for our adoptive parents.

More about Faith

  • Why Faith started breeding

Our journey began in the early 2000's when our teenage daughter came home begging us to adopt a rescue dachshund named Ernie. Which we hesitantly did. Ernie was an adult dachshund who had been neglected ,and abused. It didn't take long for him to warm up to us. Feeling loved, and secure in our home he thrived. In the process is when I personally fell totally in love with this breed.

  • Faith has been a member of Good Dog for over 2 years

Faith was screened for responsible practices and has been a member since 2022.

Faith’s Dachshund puppies are cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
