I'm the breeder behind Figgy’s Chihuahuas located in Orlando, FL. We are a small Chihuahua show breeder/exhibitor located in Central Florida near Orlando, where we raise CHIC Health Tested Chihuahuas and Chihuahua puppies from AKC Championship pedigrees. We only breed/own Chihuahuas and they are bred in accordance with the AKC Chihuahua breed standard.

Getting a puppy from Jennifer

Jennifer has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $3,000 - $4,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

“The price includes a health guarantee, AKC registration, all current vaccinations and deworming, along with litter box, training, and all appropriate age appropriate socialization. If you are interested in a specific puppy, I do require a nonrefundable deposit to hold more than one week.”

Jennifer may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Socialization is extremely important with this breed. I use the rule of 12s where every 12 weeks they are exposed to 12 different sounds, 12 different people, 12 different surfaces, etc. Additionally, all puppies are litter box trained from the age of four weeks on. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Daily handling, Socialized with other dogs, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Scent introduction, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, We litter train our puppies by 4 weeks which makes crate training very easy., Socialized with people, Puppy evaluations at age 9 or 10 weeks, Touch Desensitization, Strangers, Various Surfaces , conformation stacking and nail trimming, Rules of 7, Car Rides, Puppy Culture , Noises , Toys, e.g. Ball, Household Desensitization, Grooming Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Adult Dogs, and Socialized with Children.

Puppy health practices

All puppies receive necessary vaccines and deworming, and are given a complete health exam by a licensed veterinarian prior to going to their new home.

We send our puppies home with Basic obedience & manners, Microchip, Registration, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Toys, Vet records, Food & treats, Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Blanket with Mom's Scent, Vaccinations, Food Starter Bag, Certificate of Health, AKC Registration, and Puppy Starter Kit.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
