I'm the breeder behind Golden Girls Furever Friends located in Monroe, TN. I raise my breeding dogs and puppies in my home as part of our family, and they are ready to be your next best friend! I am a licensed veterinary medical technician with great love and passion for the golden retriever breed. Our dogs are health tested and thoroughly examined by a DVM every year. We perform all recommended health testing for our breed.

Getting a puppy from Megan

Megan has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $800 and include a non-refundable deposit of $400.

“This includes AKC registration, age-appropriate vaccinations, examination, puppy kit, and deworming. All puppies in a litter are the same price regardless of sex, color, or size. A deposit is required after the litter is born to secure a puppy.”

What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Our puppies are well-adjusted to a home environment and are socialized as we have 3 young children and 6 Golden Retrievers. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, Outdoors (when Weather permits), Noise desensitized , Car Rides, Chew, e.g. Bone, Toys, e.g. Ball, Touch Desensitization, Strangers, Early Neurological Stimulation, Grooming Desensitization, Household Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Children, Regular Grooming, nail trim, clippers, bath, blow dryer, brushing, etc., Water Introduction, Early Socialization, neural stimulation, Noise desensitization, Litter Box Trained, Doggy door training , Human Interactions , and Potty training, crate training.

Puppy health practices

All puppies have fecals performed, deworming, vaccines, and examinations. Any issues are treated promptly under the guidance of a veterinarian.

We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Registration, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Vet records, Puppy starter kit, Food & treats, Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents, Food Starter Bag, and AKC Registration.

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
