Getting a puppy from Tara

Tara has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $1,800 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

“Price includes 1 year health guarantee, worming, vet health exam, 1st vaccination at 8 weeks, introduction to crate and potty training. Puppies have been raised with the puppy culture program to give them the best transition possible to their forever homes. All of puppies are the same price. Picking order goes in order of first come by date deposit was placed.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Raised in a home environment. Puppies are socialized with kids and other animals. Exposed to something new everyday. I utilize the following enrichment methods: All our puppies are handled from birth till they leave at, Nail Trimming, socialized with people wearing hats and now masks, positive experiences in all situations, also have lots of friends and family who come over to handle the puppies and help out with the puppies daily. I do not take them to public places to expose them to people as they are not fully vaccinated until 16 weeks. , Outdoors (when Weather permits), Puppy Culture , car riding , crate training, Noise desensitized , Various Surfaces , Noises , Scents, Chew, e.g. Bone, Toys, e.g. Ball, Early Neurological Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Other Animals, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Cats, Socialized with Children, Water Introduction, Early Socialization, ENS, Scent Introduction, Noise desensitization, Litter Box Trained, Doggy door training , Car Training , Potty pads,, Human Interactions , Puppy Culture , Biosensor Training, Clicker Training, Crate Training, "No" Biting or Chewing, Leash Walking, and Potty Training.

Puppy health practices

All puppies are wormed at 2,4,6,8 weeks vaccinated at 8 weeks with a vet health exam.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
