I'm the breeder behind Goldnview Golden Retrievers located in New York. We care deeply about the Golden Retriever, and we breed to help ensure the health and future of these wonderful dogs. Our breeding program focuses on maintaining the unique characteristics specific to Golden Retrievers while striving to produce puppies of superior health, temperament, and conformation. What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Our puppies are well adjusted to a home environment including exposure to different surfaces both indoor and out as well as different sounds. First steps in house breaking are started with clicker training.

Puppy health practices

All puppies have had their first exam, vaccine, fecal and have been wormed before leaving for their new homes.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 5 (NCL5), Golden Retriever Type

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
