I'm the breeder behind Grace Run Basset Hounds & Dobermans located in Lebanon, OH. We breed all colors and dilute varieties of Bassets and dochunds. As well as black and red dobermans. Parents are health tested. We strive to produce healthy puppies that can be both active with your family and the couch potato that everyone adores! We work hard to produce and keep our Bassets at a healthy weight and active for healthy joints and bones. We encourage all our families to do the same! Health tested parents with low coefficient inbreeding %.

About Savannah
We are a family of 4 that live in a single-family home in Lebanon Ohio. I am a professional labor and delivery doula for Dogs. I am also a wildlife rehabilitator and a neonatal critical care specialist. All things baby!

We take pride in producing active healthy bassets that can do both: be lazy couch potatoes with your family like they are known for and be active and keep up with your family! We take pride in being transparent and friendly. Appreciating questions and always being honest if we feel our puppies might not be a right fit for you.

Litter update on 25 Feb. •Scarecrow! A little about his unique color. Scarecrow is a diluted Mahagony. He has blue skin (nose and eye rims) blue eyes and a blue haze over his beautiful red. His eyes are blue now but will be more light green to amber when an adult. He has the perfect ear set and all the wrinkles for days! Contact us if interested!

Getting a puppy from Savannah
Savannah has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. Price
Puppy prices range from $1,200 - $3,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $300.
“Puppy, health records, parents embark certificate, AKC registration (on select breedings) contract. GOOD dog fees are 6.5% on each sale and our prices reflect this. Nonrefundable, reservation list fee is applied to the price of the puppy after deposit contract has been signed.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included
Enrichment and socialization
The babies get daily socializing with noises, scents, objects, toys, and terranes That they will encounter in their new lives. They are handled by children of multiple ages and around cats and other dogs. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized in new places, Various sounds, Scent introduction, Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, and Car rides.
Puppy health practices
We do a deposit contract and Babies will be current on vaccines and dewormings. Dewclaws removed. We start puppy socialization for our new families, exposing babies to lots of everyday experiences they will have when they go home. Including Kids of all ages and dogs of all sizes. Our litters born in the right seasons are exposed to the outdoors and encouraged to begin potty training. We like to give the best start we can to each puppy that leaves us! We would be happy to get you started and answer your questions! We have several flight nannies and ground transports we work with.

We send our puppies home with Puppy starter kit, Vet records, Registration, Food & treats, Initial potty training, ear cropping, Microchip offer, and Vaccinations.

Pick up your puppy in Lebanon, OH or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Get your puppy dropped off to you
Work with a trusted flight nanny or transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

As I help other breeders bring their beautiful litters into this world, one of my clients asked me to help with bassets I fell head over heels for them. The first basset I birthed is now retired and We are now partners. I couldn't imagine Bassets not being a part of my world now.

Savannah’s Dachshund puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary by litter based on the parent dogs.
Savannah’s program includes 21 colors
Savannah’s Basset Hound puppies include black brown and white, lemon and white, brown black and white, black tan and white, black white and brown, black white and tan, mahogany and white, red and white, black and brown, black red and white, brown and white, tan and white, blue tan and white, and white black and red. Savannah’s Dachshund puppies include piebald, black, brindle, dapple, and black and tan. Savannah’s Doberman Pinscher puppies include red and rust and black and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
