Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Great Lakes Basset Hounds located in Manistique, MI. I strive to make sure every owner has the ability to get the very best out of their puppy. I breed health tested, quality dogs. The goal we set and which I believe is still the most important, is to produce healthy puppies that make a well-rounded character in an adult dog.

Ashley’s experience

  • About Ashley

I am a 25-year-old animal lover. I have always had a huge passion for animals. A few years ago I got my first basset hound. I loved him! I had to have another. So we decided to add our other basset.

  • What makes Ashley’s program special

I feel my program is special because I feel we are improving the breed. Our dogs do not hunt, but they have the best personalities and make wonderful family dogs.
