About Amy
We have owned German Shepherds for over 25 years, and have been breeding since 2003. We have very high standards for placing our puppies in life-long homes, and vow to always have welcome arms for dogs we have bred, to return without question. We actively train in IGP (Schutzhund), obedience and Scent Detection. We show in conformation and participate in a variety of training venues and activities.
What makes Amy’s program special
We spare no expense when it comes to our dogs! They are our family! They receive the best of veterinary care, including annual exams, bloodwork, vaccines, and preventatives. Our program is built on breeding dogs with strong pedigrees, longevity, structure, exceptional temperament and solid working ability. Our breeding dogs live in our home, on our 30-acre farm. All of the adult dogs are allowed to sleep on their Kuranda beds, floors, or in our bed.

Amy has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. Puppy prices range from $1,800 - $2,200 and include a refundable deposit of $500.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Spine (OFA, FCI), Dentition, Temperament Test, Brucellosis, Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
