I'm the breeder behind HotSchott French Bulldogs located in New York. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!
About Monica
I have been involved with conformation showing since the early 1990's. My first breed was Rottweilers, although I've had dogs all of my life. I started with French Bulldogs in 2002 and started breeding them in 2005. All of my breeding dogs are health tested and must conform to our French Bulldog breed standard.
What makes Monica’s program special
I study pedigrees and make decisions on how it will combine with my pedigree. I believe that both parents should be health tested to create the best possible healthy puppies. I only sell my puppies to companion homes with a spay/neuter contract. I do not sell to anyone for breeding.
Monica has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $3,800 - $4,500.
Monica may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Monica offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Monica directly.
My puppies move to a puppy pen in my dining room between 4-5 weeks of age. This way they get used to all the commotion of the household and other dogs. No one is allowed to visit, though, until the babies have had their first vaccinations.
All puppies receive their wellness visit at 8 weeks of age. I follow Dr. Jean Dodd's protocol for vaccinations on all of my dogs. All puppies are dewormed several times before going to their new homes. They receive a health certificate from my vet as well.
Your puppy may come with extra benefits, like a small bag of food or a toy carrying the scent of their littermates. While HotSchott French Bulldogs hasn’t shared specifics yet, we encourage you to reach out directly to learn what thoughtful extras they may include to help your puppy transition comfortably into their new home.
Why Monica started breeding
I purchased a beautiful female from my mentor friend and she educated me along the way. I showed this dog to her championship and then she retired from the show ring to become a mother.
Monica has been a member of Good Dog for over 3 years
Monica was screened for responsible practices and has been a member since 2021.
