I'm the breeder behind In The Woods Aussies located in Paynes Creek, CA. Coming soon! We are excited to introduce our beautiful, intelligent pack to the world. Our mission is to bring healthy, happy Australian Shepherds that have great temperaments to loving homes of all kinds. These dogs are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. Our Aussies all live inside with us and our five children (they keep things interesting), go hiking in the woods behind our home and are well socialized. Can't wait to share our pups with you in the near future!
About Katrina
I am a mother of 5. I worked in healthcare untill 2008 when my daughter with disabilities was born. Now I am a stay at home mom and animal enthusiast. We have lived in northern California our whole lives but bought our first home in the woods of Paynes Creek CA in January of 2020. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my free time then with this amazing dog breed in the woods.
What makes Katrina’s program special
My breeding program is new, but I am determined to learn everything there is to know. I have a few amazing mentors and I am committed to breeding healthy well rounded Australian Shepherds not just for potential show families but all families.
Katrina has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $1,500 - $2,500 and include a refundable deposit of $200.
“The price includes garuntee AKC registration, first vaccinations, worming and vet check before going home. The deposit is refundable at my discretion and is the same for all puppies no matter full or limited registration rights.”
Katrina may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Katrina offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Katrina directly.
Katrina offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
