Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Intermountain Australian Cattle Dogs located in Long Pond, PA. We are a small program with health tested/screened sire and dam with stable temperaments and workability. We are striving to better the breed in both performance, workability, and most importantly health. Our goal is to provide owners with the best success of their puppy for their life style.

Claudia’s experience

  • About Claudia

I grew up with all sorts of animals in my life. I fell in love with dogs and horses. Since then I grew attached to dogs that are able to work around them if not in unison. My first Australia Cattle dog was mixed but the personality led me to a purebred from working parents. Ever since then I’ve wanted to help preserve and continue the breed in a healthy and workable manner.

More about Claudia

  • Why Claudia started breeding

I got into breeding because I wanted to help others receive a stable temperament dog that would make a good pet but also be a good worker. I also see a lot of breeding in this breed without health testing and wanted to contribute to healthy sound dogs particularly in my area where this breed is used frequently. I want to better the breed and help set up owner for success when choosing a puppy.
