About Debra
I have had chocolate labs since 1989. At that time, I had never heard of one, and no one else had either. My first dog was Chopper. He was an American style lab and we worked him as a duck hunting dog on the Rio Grande River in the middle Rio Grande Valley. I was hooked!
What makes Debra’s program special
We are developing our line of high quality English style Chocolate Labradors.
Debra has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Please contact the breeder to get more information about pricing.
Debra may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Debra offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Debra directly.
Certified Good Dog Breeders put a lot of care into raising well-rounded puppies, often focusing on early training and socialization with children and other animals. While Jameson Ranch Labradors hasn’t shared details here about their specific practices yet, we encourage you to reach out to learn more about how they prepare their puppies to go home.
Each puppy gets a health check, dewclaws are removed, and a veterinarian performs vaccinations prior to puppy adoption.
Your puppy may come with extra benefits, like a small bag of food or a toy carrying the scent of their littermates. While Jameson Ranch Labradors hasn’t shared specifics yet, we encourage you to reach out directly to learn what thoughtful extras they may include to help your puppy transition comfortably into their new home.
Debra offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.

Why Debra started breeding
After 18 years of trying to blend English style chocolate labs with American, I stopped and purchased a show quality female chocolate lab, Puddin, from a breeder in Golden Colorado in 2015. She changed my life and my goals!! "Puddy" is my foundation female.
Debra has been a member of Good Dog for almost 5 years
Debra was screened for responsible practices and has been a member since 2020.
