I visit local families with children for an afternoon of play. I also take them to the University where I work and the staff, students, and graduate students play with them in a large grassed area next to the Dept. I also take them to a trainer friend of mine for dong a temperament and aptitude evaluation at 7 weeks. I take them to a breeder friend of mine to do a structural evaluation at 8 weeks. The pups are comfortable in a travel kennel and are comfortable traveling before the go home. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with Children and Outdoors, e.g. rain.
I give all the vet recommended vaccination based on age. I deworm on a vet recommended schedule. The owner goes home with the vet recorded and the schedule for continuing and completing the vaccinations.
Your puppy may come with extra benefits, like a small bag of food or a toy carrying the scent of their littermates. While Julson Kennel hasn’t shared specifics yet, we encourage you to reach out directly to learn what thoughtful extras they may include to help your puppy transition comfortably into their new home.
Why Jim started breeding
When my Son' were just about to reach hunting age we purchased our first SM. I knew a good dog was important. When that dog was about 4 we realized we would need a replacement. I located a good male through the breed club I was a member of. The boys helped whelp that litter. Once the boys left home I decided to become more involved inbreeding. Access to a large German gene pool has helped
