About Vicky
My husband & I reside in the Southeastern region of Ky. in the small close knit community of infamous Harlan County. Both retired, we enjoy spending our free time with family & friends. We believe that faith, family and friends (including our four legged fur family) are the glue that holds us together. We feel blessed to be able to do what we enjoy in the beautiful mountain scenery of Ky.

Our dogs are more than breeding stock to us, they are our family. Our dogs all share our home as members of our family. They receive the best care we can possibly give them and are included in our day to day lives. We made it our business to learn everything we could about this magnificent breed. We health test our dogs, matching quality to quality in order to provide you with the same.
Getting a puppy from Vicky
Vicky has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $2,000 - $2,500 and include a deposit of $500.
“Price includes 24 month health guarantee, first set of vacs, deworming, and vet check. Puppy pack includes toys, food, blanket, collar, leash, travel bowl, training treats, all documentation (health clearances, pedigrees, AKC reg. app., contract, and more. Partial refund of deposit is possible in certain situations. Picking order of pups strictly dependent upon order in which deposits are received. I usually do not accept payment plans for puppies.”

Enrichment and socialization
Our puppies have undergone Bio Sensory stimulation. Exposed to various sounds, people of all ages, other dogs, and normal household environment. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Scent introduction, Various sounds, Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Structures, e.g. Climbing, Toys, e.g. Ball, Early Neurological Stimulation, Grooming Desensitization, Household Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Elderly, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Children, Basic manners, Potty Training, Early Socialization, and Crate Training.
Puppy health practices
All puppies will be UTD on vaccinations, dewormed, vet checked before go homes and microchipped with AKC Reunite . All puppies come with 24 month health guarantee.

We send our puppies home with Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Puppy starter kit, Toys, Microchip, Registration, Vet records, Initial potty training, Food & treats, Basic obedience & manners, Puppy package, Sound and texture enrichment, Early Neurological Stimulation, Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Vaccinations, AKC Registration, Puppy Collar, Microchip, Food Starter Bag, Certificate of Health, and Blanket with Littermates Scent.

Why Vicky started breeding
We obtained our first lab (a chocolate boy we named Ky. Bourbon) in the summer of 2017. Within days we became amazed at this boys intelligence, willingness to please, and stunning good looks. We were hooked !! The desire to produce and then provide others with their own new best friend, a true companion in every sense of the word. That’s the heart of why we do what we do.

Vicky was screened for responsible practices and has been a member since 2023.
Vicky’s program includes two colors
Vicky’s Labrador Retriever puppies include yellow and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Copper Toxicosis, Labrador Retriever Type, Copper Toxicosis, Labrador Retriever ATP7A, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Retinal Dysplasia/Oculoskeletal Dysplasia 1 (RD OSD), Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis (HNPK), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
