I'm the breeder behind Karen Elliott located in Choctaw, OK. Our dogs are bred specifically with health and conformation as focus. I'm a small breeder who takes pride and love in my puppies and finding them a home. I have been breeding for 6 years, and take great pride in my babies. I have both parents on site, and they are in the house.

About Karen
I'm 57, I used to work for a vet I'm very knowledgeable in proper care for any of my babies. I only have three females. I don't want to be a large breeder. I do enjoy breeding and giving people a chance to have a good quality pet with paperwork that backs it without a totally outrageous price.
What makes Karen’s program special
I give everything to the mother and the babies I spare no expense and making sure that they have good quality food vet care and most of all love. I personally take care of each liter and love them and get them ready for their new home.

What's included
Enrichment and socialization
I make sure the puppies are used to being held and loved. They are potty pad trained and socialized by myself and my grandchildren. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other dogs, Various sounds, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized with children, Car rides, We begin potty training along with crate training & believe the two go hand in hand., Early socialization, Human Interactions , Potty pads,, Crate Training, Potty Training, Socialized with Children, Household Desensitization, Grooming Desensitization, and Toys, e.g. Ball.
Puppy health practices
They will be dewormed every two weeks. They will see the vet for a puppy check and their first round of shots.

We send our puppies home with Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Basic obedience & manners, Food & treats, Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Vet records, Registration, Vaccinations, Puppy Collar, Food Starter Bag, Certificate of Health, Blanket with Mom's Scent, and Breed Club Registration.

Why Karen started breeding
I was looking for a fur baby and every one I tried to get was over $3,000. I know what a good home any fur baby would have so I wanted to give people the chance to have a good quality baby that maybe can't afford over the top fees.

Karen was screened for responsible practices and has been a member since 2020.
Karen’s program includes three colors
Karen’s Shih Tzu puppies include brindle, liver, and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
