Getting a puppy from Karen

Price

Puppy prices range from $900 and include a deposit of $200.

“AKC registration. Age appropriate vaccinations and worming. Vet health check. Copies of pedigrees, parents health check results, record of vacs/ worming and a bag of the food puppy is eating. Puppy may be microchipped. Depending on the reason for not buying after placing a deposit and the amount of time/work involved, the deposit might be refunded.”

What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Puppies are handles at least twice daily and introduced to other animals, loud noises, people and kids when I can borrow them.

Pups are given age appropriate vaccinations and worming before going to new homes.

  • Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Brucellosis

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
