About Karen
I am a Coloradan for 47 years and have just transplanted to Florida for most of the year. The winters were too long and time outside with my dogs limited in the winter. So Florida allows me to walk each day ( almost with my danes) and do their daily training.
What makes Karen’s program special
For me, the time and love I give my dogs and educating myself as much as I could to make sure I would bring healthy, well balanced danes into this world of danes.

Why Karen started breeding
My first dane (Luna, my only American dane) made me fall in love with this breed. Everyone said, you don't want to breed. Get her spayed. At 7 months, I spay her. I had the worse regrets about doing that! And then having her spayed so early created health problems for her. T quickly came to the conclusion that I did want to breed Great Danes. Within 2 years I had my first breeding pair. I never made that mistake again of listening to other people when it came to my danes and "fixing" them.
