I'm the breeder behind Kay's Pomeranians located in San Antonio, TX. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! Our puppies are all CKC registerable and will arrive to you with a 1 year health guarantee against life- threatening genetic diseases. We are confident in the health of our poms! We also love to follow along in previous puppies' growth and development through pictures and stories.

  • What makes Kyri’s program special

    My sire is AKC & CKC registered. He has a very full coat and comes from a line with embark genetic testing. My dam is CKC registered. She comes from a reputable breeder who has bred poms for 20 years. Her bloodline has been embark tested as well. Great care and research has gone into selecting my breeding pair in order to produce beautiful and healthy pups that will be part of your family for many years!

Getting a puppy from Kyri

Kyri has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $2,500 - $2,700 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

“CKC registerable, dewormed, first rounds of shots, and health guarantee (detailed in contract). Deposits are generally not refundable unless you have a qualifying exception as detailed in the contract.”

Contract and health guarantee

Kyri may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Our puppies are played with and socialized both with children and their littermates/parents. All puppies are friendly and social unless otherwise detailed! I utilize the following enrichment methods: Daily handling, Socialized with children, Toys, e.g. Ball, Grooming Desensitization, Noises , and Socialized with Children.

Puppy health practices

All puppies come with standard vet paperwork and shot records to attest to their health! Again, these puppies were carefully bred from a line of poms with no identified genetic defects.

Extras

We send our puppies home with Food & treats, Vet records, Registration, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, and Welcome Home bag.

Pick up your puppy in San Antonio, TX or nearby

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

“We don't ship puppies, but do work with flight nanny services. We are also willing to meet within reason. Alternatively you can pick up in New Braunfels, Tx”

Kay's Pomeranians reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Pomeranians.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
