About Michelle
My name is Michelle Klatt and I have a great love for Miniature Australian Shepherds.
What makes Michelle’s program special
I feel that the time spent with my puppies while they are young truly forms them into well-rounded, socialized individuals. I am proud of the time, effort, and love I put into each pup.
Michelle has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $800 - $1,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $300.
“We raise our pups with the Puppy Culture method. Our pups have their tails docked and dewclaws removed by our vet. Pups are dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks, they get their first and second round of vaccinations, and a puppy pack to go home with including a small bag of food. A deposit of $300 is required to hold a puppy.”
Michelle may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Michelle offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Michelle directly.
Our puppies are raised in our house with the Puppy Culture method which gives them a great neurological start. We work with them on a daily basis to become well-adjusted, and socialized. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Sound Stimulation, Early Neurological Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Structures, e.g. Climbing, Various Surfaces, Socialized with Other Animals, Recall Training, Car Rides, Puppy Culture, Potty Training, Clicker Training, Crate Training, Basic Obedience Commands, Leash and Collar Training, Grooming and Nail Care, and Bathing.
All puppies are taken to the vet to have tails docked and dewclaws removed. They will also have been to the vet for an additional visit for shots and a health check.
We send our puppies home with Food Starter Bag, Vaccinations, Breed Club Registration, and Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents.
Michelle offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Work with a trusted transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.
Why Michelle started breeding
I have been a dog groomer since 2006. I also live on a farm. After encountering a few Mini Australian Shepherds at work, I really wanted to add one to our family. After buying my first in 2017, I quickly wanted a second. I love this breed's personality and eagerness to please. After getting my second female, genetic testing, and lots of research, I decided I wanted to find the complimentary male.
