I'm the breeder behind Lake Crystal Farms Labradors located in North Chesterfield, VA. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! We are dedicated to always providing our buyers and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies. Our puppies come with AKC paperwork to be registered with the AKC. Both Dam and Sire have some champion bloodlines and sire in this litter has aspects of master hunters or field trials.

About Mara
I am a certified pharmacy technician and I work part time at Publix Pharmacy. I absolutely love all dogs I have always had a dog my whole life. Family is very important to me I have 4 grown children and my dogs are a big part of my world. I enjoy spending hours with my dogs playing fetch with them and cuddling up with them for a nap. I feel that’s dogs are the best companions ! I always say a house is not a house without a dog in the house.
What makes Mara’s program special
My breeding program is special because I raise my litter in my home and incorporate the puppies and socialize them with my family life. It is a very personal approach! I breed for excellence , so I make sure to match my sweet Ginger to a great Sire. Bo is exceptional and he has champion bloodlines. Ginger has the kindest sweetest personality. I am so excited to see these puppies! I enjoy so much to watch them grow and placing them into loving, wonderful homes.

Getting a puppy from Mara
Mara has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $1,400 - $1,650 and include a non-refundable deposit of $250.
“The price includes health guarantee, AKC Registrable, Puppy pack with puppy food and a blanket. First puppy vaccinations and veterinary checks. All of the puppies are priced the same for the deposit. The only difference is if you would full AKC or limited AKC with your puppy.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included
Enrichment and socialization
Our puppies are raised in my home and are socialized with dogs and children of all ages . I work on potty training basic commands of sit and stay. They are raised with puppy culture. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Scent introduction, Socialized with children, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Surface & tactile stimulation, Various sounds, and Potty training, crate training.
Puppy health practices
All puppies are vaccinated with first shots and multiple deworming at 2,4,6 and 8 weeks . They are all certified and vet checked to be healthy before releasing them to their new homes.

We send our puppies home with Puppy starter kit, Initial potty training, Vet records, Basic obedience & manners, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Registration, and Food & treats.
Bringing your puppy home

Pick up your puppy in North Chesterfield, VA or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Get your puppy dropped off to you
Work with a trusted flight nanny to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

Why Mara started breeding
Labradors are sweet faced and lovable friendly and high spirited companions. I feel in love with my sweet Ginger the moment that I met her and I decided to share her special characteristics and breed her. She has perfect health clearances and an outstanding personality. She is playful and has so much love to give. I just wanted to share her and pass on her wonderful traits through her beautiful healthy puppies.

Mara was screened for responsible practices and has been a member since 2025.

About Ginger
Ginger is gentle natured and lovable. She loves a good belly rub. She is a very affectionate Labrador. She is quiet but extremely playful. She loves a good game of fetch or a tug of war. She is AKC and OFA certified with good hips normal elbows and a clear DNA panel and non dilute. She is a family dog and excellent with kids and other dogs and she is very friendly.
