I'm the breeder behind LaTerra Cove Poodles located in Jacksonville, FL. Our AKC Grand Champion Standard Poodles are health and temperament tested. We follow the breeding guidelines set by PCA. I carefully choose the sire and dam in order to produce the best quality possible.
About Miranda
I have worked with dogs for 17 years, which gave me great respect for well-bred dogs. When I started showing Poodles I fell in love with the breed and wanted to help bring a healthier Poodle into the world.
What makes Miranda’s program special
As with many show breeders, I health test my Poodles and require the same of any stud I use. All of our poodles are titled and puppies are raised with Puppy Culture.

When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $2,000 - $3,400 and include a refundable deposit of $500.
“All pet homes are $2000. Puppies are evaluated at 8 weeks and then prospective owners are matched with the best possible puppy after show homes are selected. Show homes are $3000+.”
Miranda may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Miranda offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Miranda directly.
We socialize the puppies with other dogs and people of all ages at the appropriate time before going to new homes. We also potty train the puppies starting at 6 weeks, we desensitize them to loud noises, we desensitize them to all types of surfaces (grass, carpet, tile, concrete, etc.), we teach them to walk on a leash, we groom them about 5-8 times before going home to get them use to clippers and scissors as well as washing and using different types of pet dryers, they get early training with Puppy Culture curriculum which teaches them to focus, understand the clicker, stand, etc. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Potty Training, Noises , Various Surfaces , and Leash Walking.
All puppies start a deworming schedule at 2 weeks of age. Vaccines are administered at 8 weeks, puppies all get a health certificate from our veterinarian.
Your puppy may come with extra benefits, like a small bag of food or a toy carrying the scent of their littermates. While LaTerra Cove Poodles hasn’t shared specifics yet, we encourage you to reach out directly to learn what thoughtful extras they may include to help your puppy transition comfortably into their new home.
Miranda offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
“You are welcome to our home to visit and pick up your puppy.”
Why Miranda started breeding
