Our goal is each puppy is the perfect fit and meets the needs of their family; whether they're to be companions, working dogs, emotional support, or service. Can't wait to connect with you!

About Sarah
I'm Sarah Parr. My husband and I are owners of Lazy VT Bar Ranch. We're located in central Texas near Evant. We raise cattle and Australian Shepherds, mostly minis, with a few toys and standards. We're lovers of animals which our life revolves around!
What makes Sarah’s program special
…Our dogs are our family members first and foremost. We strive to give them the proper care and attention they need. Our puppies are whelped inside our home and are handled daily. They are moved by four weeks, to climate-controlled facilities where they learn to use a doggie door at five weeks. At five to six weeks, they've learned to potty outdoors. They have large penned-in areas where they can run, play and explore. We spend time playing with them striving to make their time with us happy, and fun; but yet preparing them for their new forever homes and making it an easier transition for them. We are licensed by the state of Texas, license # 358.

Getting a puppy from Sarah
Sarah has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $850 - $1,800 and include a non-refundable deposit of $300.
“The price is pet price, breeding rights are extra. The price includes being vet checked, current with vaccinations, and deworming. Also includes a one year health guarantee. The deposit holds the puppy until it's picked up.”
Contract and health guarantee
Sarah may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Sarah offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Sarah directly.
What's included
Enrichment and socialization
Our puppies are handled daily as soon as they're born. They're started on potty and crate training. They experience grooming and nail care. They're exposed to the outdoors, different noises, and smells. They go on car rides at least a couple of times. They're used to being around other dogs and seeing cattle. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other dogs, Socialized in new places, Daily handling, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, beginning crate training, Trupanion , Doggy Door Training, Human Interactions , Household Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with People, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Car Riding, Basic Manners, "No" Biting or Chewing, and Potty Training.
Puppy health practices
Our puppies are seen and vet checked at least twice before leaving our premises. The first time for the removal of tails and declaws; and then for their vaccinations.
Extras
We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, Registration, Food Starter Bag, Certificate of Health, and Breed Club Registration.

Pick up your puppy in Evant, TX or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Get your puppy dropped off to you
Work with a trusted transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at a meeting point close to home.
