I'm the breeder behind Little Legs Legacy located in Caulfield, MO. The health of our dachshunds is our number one priority! All of our adults have been genetically tested. We also strongly believe in raising well-socialized pups, this means we spend quality time with our babies to ensure they are happy and comfortable in a home environment.
About Kendra
I am a wife, mother, and dog lover! Growing up, I always had a furry friend by my side and this has transferred into my adulthood. A few years ago, my mother in law introduced me to the miniature dachshund and ever since then they have become my favorite breed!

Our puppies are well adjusted to the home environment, including various noises (tv, vacuum, pots & pans, etc). They receive lots of socialization from myself and other family members, including children under the age of 3. We also make sure they have plenty of toys to play with! For potty training, they will start off using a potty pad then transfer to using the doggy door as they get older. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Scent introduction, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Daily handling, Socialized with other dogs, Socialized with children, Various sounds, Noise desensitization, Doggy door training , Human Interactions , and Potty pads,.

Why Kendra started breeding
Shortly after I met my husband, I found out his mother raised miniature dachshunds. It wasn't long after that I began helping her care for her sweet fur babies. One of my favorite parts was getting to help socialize the puppies! Fast forward to today - I have my own dachshunds and have been helping families find their furry family additions for almost two years now!
