I'm the breeder behind Little Prairie Portuguese Water Dogs located in Mccook, NE. I’m a Mom of 3 & wife to a busy veterinarian in rural Nebraska. Animals are our lifestyle! We take pride in the fact we are a small hobby breeder & not a kennel. We do our research when we invest our hearts & time into a litter. Lucy & Claire are part of our indoor family. Our puppies have been bred for temperament with impressive American, European, & Champion lines to produce the best of both worlds! Our puppies are given an excellent foundation to promote a successful future for all. Lucy arrived from Hawaii with Champion Bloodlines of Surfdogs Haole Boy “GQ” SUPERDOG. Our females & the sire of this litter have had their eye, genetic testing, & hip certifications completed in accordance with the PWDCA. Our goal is to raise HAPPY HEALTHY PUPPIES for ADORING FAMILIES. We do take a few puppy personalities into consideration with home placements. We hope you can appreciate & respect our puppy program as much as we do! We are 4 hours from Denver, Cheyenne, Wichita and Lincoln. Kansas City is around 6 hours. We will help cut down drive time when possible. Limited registration with spay/neuter contract required.
