I'm the breeder behind Lock N' Gold Goldens located in Michigan. We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy!

Getting a puppy from Alexis

Alexis has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $3,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

“The price includes AKC registration, first round of vaccinations, deworming, health testing of parents and socialization with other puppies. All of our puppies are the same price which includes registration and microchip.”

What's included

Enrichment and socialization

I utilize the following enrichment methods: Bathing, grooming and nail trimming., Human contact from birth, and on daily basis, Noises, exposure to agility tunnel, wobble board and other novel items, conformation stacking and nail trimming, Potty opportunities on various surfaces, Outdoors (when Weather permits), Noise desensitized , Noises , also have lots of friends and family who come over to handle the puppies and help out with the puppies daily. I do not take them to public places to expose them to people as they are not fully vaccinated until 16 weeks. , Structures, e.g. Climbing, Scents, Chew, e.g. Bone, Toys, e.g. Ball, Socialized with Elderly, Touch Desensitization, Early Neurological Stimulation, Grooming Desensitization, Household Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, and Socialized with Adult Dogs.

Puppy health practices

Certified Good Dog breeders ensure their puppies are healthy and ready for their new homes. Puppies receive the appropriate vaccinations and are dewormed or have a clear fecal exam before they leave. While Lock N' Gold Goldens hasn’t shared details about their specific health practices yet, we encourage you to reach out to learn more about how they care for their puppies.

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
