I'm the breeder behind Lockwood Cavaliers located in Maynardville, TN. We love our dogs and what we do, and we strive to make each puppy a great contribution to its forever home. We breed for longevity above all, as well as health and conformation. Our dogs are considered members of our family, and we give each dog and puppy all the attention and care that they require to live long and wonderful lives.

Getting a puppy from Connie

Connie has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $3,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

“Puppies come with a one-year health guarantee. They will be up to date on vaccinations and worming. Puppies will have a veterinary health check and AKC paperwork. The deposit will hold a puppy for you until pickup, and the remainder of the puppy price will be due at pickup. Deposits are only refundable if we can not provide you with a puppy.”

Contract and health guarantee

Connie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Our puppies are well adjusted. We play the television, run the vacuum and play different types of music for them so that they hear lots of different sounds. They are handled and played with several times a day. They are well socialized with other dogs and children. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, Various Surfaces, Nail Trimming, Conformation Stacking, Noise Desensitization, Touch Desensitization, Household Desensitization, Grooming Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Elderly, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Children, and Crate Training.

Puppy health practices

All our puppies are taken to our Veterinarian for a puppy wellness check before leaving. Puppies will have their first set of vaccinations and de-worming.

We send our puppies home with Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Food & treats, Vet records, and Registration.

Bringing your puppy home

Connie offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.

Pick up your puppy in Maynardville, TN or nearby

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

“You can pick up your puppy here, or we can deliver it to an airport for you to pick up there. We also meet buyers within 2 hours of us. We can refer a pet nanny that flies with the puppy in-cabin and delivers to you at your airport. We can give you his number and you can coordinate delivery with him.”

Work with a trusted flight nanny or transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

    We fell in love with the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breed. Our dogs have proven to be incredible, loving companions, and we wanted to share that experience with others by producing healthy, happy puppies. It is so fulfilling!

  • Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • GenSol Diagnostics DNA Testing

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
