I'm the breeder behind Midnight Mountain Paws located in Edgar, WI. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

Getting a puppy from Autumn

Autumn has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $2,400 - $2,600 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

“The price includes AKC registration, a health guarantee/contract, dewclaws removed, 4 rounds of dewormer, the first round puppy vaccine, & a vet wellness visit prior to going to their new homes. Plus life long breeder support. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of color, shape, or gender.”

Autumn may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included

Enrichment and socialization

The puppies are born and raised in our house around people of all ages, including very young children. The puppies are acquainted to every day household sounds as well as large equipment/farm sounds. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Various sounds, Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, and Car rides.

Puppy health practices

All puppies are vaccinated and taken to the vet for a wellness exam prior to going home.

We send our puppies home with Toys, Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Food & treats, Vet records, Registration, Dew claws removed, Vaccinations, Food Starter Bag, and AKC Registration.

Bringing your puppy home

Autumn offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.

Pick up your puppy in Edgar, WI or nearby

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

“We don’t ship our puppies. You can come to our house or we’d be more than willing to meet you at our local airport.”

Get your puppy dropped off to you

Work with a trusted flight nanny to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1B), Bernese Mountain Dog Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
