I'm the breeder behind Nistler's Farm Corgis located in Salem, MO. We are a hobby breeder striving to raise athletic, happy, and healthy Corgis. We are a hobby breeder and we specialize in quality Pembroke Welsh Corgis that are healthy, athletic and small in size as our adult dogs are 10-12 inches tall and weigh between 18-23 pounds. We are trying to adhere to what the standard was when the breed was started in the 1930's. Our goal is to maintain three breeding females and we have raised each one of them in our home. We are not a kennel we just love our corgis and love the puppies. Our puppies and all our breeding dogs are all raised in our home. All our dogs and puppies are AKC registered and APRI registered. We do genetic testing on our breeding dogs for DM & vWD. References available upon request - and visit our website http://farmcorgis.com and see our "customer comments" page!
About Dave and Linda
We are semi-retired and own our own farm. We also have Missouri Fox Trotting Horses and we love trail ride. I got my first Corgi in 1997, a neutered male and I thought the sun rose and set on that dog. We have raised hunting dogs for years until 2005 then we got to missing the puppies so at that time we decided to raise a litter of Corgis. Thus began the search for dogs suitable for breeding.
What makes Dave and Linda’s program special
Our breedings are carefully planned and pedigree's studied to produce the best overall healthy and happy puppy we can. Our puppies are well socialized, and all raised in our home. We are present during birth and pups stay in our home until weaned when we move them to our attached garage which is heated and air conditioned. In living on a farm, our dogs experience open land and wooded trails and interactions with cats, chickens, horses, and people. Our Corgis are able to be with us in our daily lives. Our Corgis love to go for daily walks on our many trails through the woods. We live close to the Current River, and during the summers you will find us and our Corgis at the river enjoying the cooler temperatures along the water. They love to be with us, whatever we are doing. We do not sell to brokers or petshops. Our pups come with limited registration as we do not wish our puppies to be raised in large breeding operations where they get little attention.

We have raised hunting dogs on a small scale for 30 plus years prior to Corgis. After starting our first litter of Corgis, it took us almost two years to find breeding stock that would fit our standards. We have owned Corgis for the past 20 years and love the company of our dogs.
